Fukuoka continues its growth as the capital city of Kyushu, while preserving its rich history and traditions. The first stop on your itinerary after leaving the port will be Yusentei park. And you can go through in front of Fukuoka Tower on the way .The tower stands in the centre of the waterfront area called Momochihama (Seaside Momochi) and was built in 1989 on occasion of the Asian Pacific Expo (Yokatopia), which commemorated the centenary of the incorporation of the modern city of Fukuoka. Yusentei was built in 1745 as a resort of Kuroda Clan.It went through a restoration and then opened to the pablic as the first Chisen Kaiyu styled Japanese garden in Fukuoka City.You will enjoy the experience of a cup of matcha(green tea) while gazing at the seasonal colors in the garden. Next stop will be Kushida shrine. The shrine of Hakata Gion Yamakasa is dedication,Yamakasa is the decoration float and this is on display all year round. It has been nicknamed "Kushida-san" and loved from the people in Hakata. After Kushida Shrine, we will visit the Canal city where you will have some free time for shopping and eating. Finally we will take yo to the Fukuoka airport.
